Shared names.
Clear boundaries.
This glossary explains the names used across Alongkind, its app and the Garden. A named concept, illustration or office role is not evidence that a software control has been implemented.
Project separation remains explicit. Shared principles and public references do not connect code, accounts, data or permissions. The 27 Control Cells and recorded results describe the evidence and its limits.
Concepts and separate projects
| Name | Meaning here | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Alongkind HEART | The human-led continuity concept: experience, interpretation, meaning, change and identity. | The HEART pages explain a design approach; they do not certify every depicted feature. |
| Companion OS | The companion behaviour and continuity design layer. | Its name does not establish that all memory or permission controls are implemented. |
| HAL-AI | The human-authority and governance framework for bounded AI action. | Requirements need feature-specific enforcement evidence. |
| UJI-GAMI | The people, place, community, memory and belonging concept. | It is not presented as a verified security enforcement system. |
| AETHERA | A developing universe concept for stories, companions and experiences. | Hardware photographs do not prove that this universe is running. |
| Human–companion–community triad | The relationship connecting a person, an AI companion and trusted people. | This relationship is not the separate TriadNetwork project. |
| TriadNetwork | A separate continuity project built around separation, verification and recovery; its Phase 0 focus is Backup, Verify and Restore. | References and office illustrations do not establish integration into Alongkind or its receipt beta. |
| The Law Bible | The governing reference for the standalone Companion Forge / Game concept. | Alongkind has its own public commitment. Shared principles do not merge these projects. |
| 27 Positions | The Law Bible’s Discover / Play / Create × Guide / Teammate / World Shaper × Observe / Suggest / Act with Permission framework. | Design positions, not test results. |
| 27 Control Cells | The control evidence matrix for Human Authority, Bounded Permission and Stop/Revoke across action stages and enforcement, failure tests and verification. | A separate evidence framework. Passing individual tests is not passing all 27 cells. |
Offices and illustrated roles
The app displays six illustrated office roles. Governance separately records responsibilities, including ORGA. These are different views of the work, not interchangeable staff counts. An illustration does not establish a deployed autonomous office.
| Name | Responsibility or reference |
|---|---|
| ORGA | Decision integrity and the organisation of records: “Where does this belong?” It is named in the governance map, not among the app’s six portraits. |
| AIBouncer | The permission, boundary, Stop and Revoke role. “AI Bouncer” is an alternative spelling used in illustrations, not a second office. |
| Clara | Clear language, truthful claims and evidence before promises. |
| TriadNetwork reference | The continuity, evidence and verification reference represented in the office artwork. The separate project does not gain authority over Alongkind from this illustration. |
| SOMERT | Archives and meaning: what should be preserved, where it came from and why it matters. |
| Shrinker Pair | Preservation efficiency and clear reduction, while keeping changes and the source visible. |
| Ripple Effect | Consequences and impact: who may be affected and what follows from a decision. |
HEART also names Dupli in its reflection and review illustration, and Bed Rest as a rest and recovery concept. Those references are not additional entries in the app’s six illustrated roles or proof of a deployed integration.
What the companion counts mean
A card placement, a display name, a life-stage entry and an activity profile are different things. Reusing a name or photograph does not establish another distinct companion identity. The catalogues describe designs; they do not certify child safety, wellbeing outcomes or available software features.
| Surface | Count checked | Counting method |
|---|---|---|
| Alongkind homepage | 62 card placements; 58 different display labels | Companion cards across the introductory and life-stage sections. Repeated labels and images remain placements; the page is a selected showcase. |
| Young Explorer on the homepage | 13 card placements | The Young Explorer section only. It remains a catalogue preview, without a verified parent PIN lock. |
| App catalogue | 79 built-in life-stage entries; 78 different display labels | Entries in the app’s catalogue array. This excludes companions a person creates or saves, and the separate Garden handoff presets. |
| Companion Garden | 63 activity profiles with distinct profile identifiers | The activity catalogue and its individual profile pages. This is not a count of every Alongkind design. |
| Garden-to-app handoff | 63 presets | Mappings that prefill the app’s creator from a Garden profile. Prefilling does not automatically save a companion. |
Counts are a source snapshot from 11 October 2026. The homepage, app and Garden are different selections; they are not required to contain the same total. Download the count snapshot.
